Descendants of Peter Francisco and his first wife, Susannah Anderson
Building upon the January 2011 genealogy of the descendants of Peter Francisco and his first wife,Susannah Anderson, compiled by Donald B. Pruitt, PhD. and his wife, Alla P. Pruitt, I have updated their genealogy to the best of my ability, using records found in ancestry.com and with the assistance of some Society members. Thank you so much, Don and Alla, for all of your hard work on that genealogy which may now be found in the Genealogy Archives at the bottom of this page.
Peter and Susannah, to the best of my knowledge, had three children: James Anderson Francisco, Mary “Polly” Francisco and Peter A. Francisco. The links to James and Polly’s genealogies are below:
Finding no paper trail for Peter A. Francisco, it is assumed he died as a young child. If you know anything about him, please contact the Peter Francisco Society by visiting this page.
Descendants of Peter Francisco and his second wife, Catherine Fauntleroy Brooke
Again, using records from ancestry.com and with the assistance of some Society members, I have updated the genealogy of the children of Peter Francisco and his second wife, Catherine Fauntleroy Brooke.
Peter and Catherine, to the best of my knowledge, had four children:
Susan Brooke Francisco, Catherine Fauntleroy Francisco, and Dr. Benjamin Morris Francisco. Their fourth child, Dr. Peter Johnson Francisco, did not marry, and, to the best of my knowledge, did not have any descendants. The links to Susan, Catherine and “Dr. Ben’s” genealogies are below:
I have tried to be as inclusive and careful as possible, but there is a lot of information in these documents. It is easy to make mistakes—please look at them with a critical eye, and let me know if you find any. Contact the Peter Francisco Society by visiting this page to send corrections, additions and comments. There are more family members just waiting to be “found” and new ones being born. I am always very happy to add them to our family trees!
To make finding your relatives easier, I have included an Index at the end of each report. Also, if you want the Source for any of these records, please contact us by clicking the link above.
To lessen the chance of identity theft, there are no complete dates of birth given for descendants who are still living. Only the year of birth is listed, if known, and has been included to give the reader sense of a time-line. Additional work needs to be done on these genealogies; last updates were made in the Fall of 2020.
It is my hope you will enjoy reading these reports of OUR Francisco family!
